We’ve seen the 90′s revival slowly rearing its grungey head for a little while now, beginning with the resurgence of the floral Dr. Martin. Its mass acceptance became apparent to me when I was at Topshop the other day with a man friend at the check out. He was flipping through one of their lookbooks and said, “Well I guess the 90′s are back.” I looked at him and had to hold in, “Uh duh!”
That being said, I’m not really sure the 90′s ever left. Its kind of been this time capsulated, plaid security blanket none of us have been able to let go of. And why would we? Ditsy florals, hologram alien sunglasses, Twin Peaks…sign me up, again! Hope you enjoy my 90′s inspired looks from our current auctions this week.
