We decided to do a special feature on The Closet this week where you can get to know these amazing ladies…and bid on their designer handbags, seen on HOC!
From shopping at Hermes to vacationing in the Cayman Islands, here’s a look at a few of Carin’s favorite things, plus where you can get her Louis Vuitton bag.
EDO: Favorite place to shop?
CF: For Jess and I, Hermes is not a shopping destination…it is a decadent experience that we relish! In the care of extremely chic Audra and managing director, Tracye, we are always treated to incomparable perfection!!
EDO: Go-to dining destination?
CF: Maggiano’s Oakbrook for lunch- most definitely! Chef Zach makes Jess and I the most scrumptious gluten free pasta with deliriously creamy alfredo sauce. He spoils us.
EDO: Beauty addiction?
CF: Gloss is my addiction and MAC Dazzleglass in Smile gives me the lucious glittery coral that I crave!
EDO: Ultimate vacation spot?
CF: The Ritz at Grand Cayman Island. Jess and I experienced a little bit of heaven at every sunrise on the beach. It’s indescribably serene.
EDO: If you could only wear one designer for the rest of your life it would be…
CF: Roberto Cavalli. It’s as if the clothes were made just for me!

Although Jessica also loves her Hermes and Cayman Island trips, she also loves Jimmy Choo and South Beach! Here’s a look at some of Jessica’s favorite things…
EDO: Favorite place to shop?
JF: Hands down, my favorite place to shop is Jimmy Choo on Oak Street. Rodger at Jimmy Choo always tempts my mom and I with the chicest Choos! My daily exercise is wearing sky-high heels, so these shoes are an absolute must.
EDO: Go-to dining destination?
JF: We adore Marcellos in Lincoln Park for a relaxing lunch. It’s great getaway from the craziness of the city. We have Celiac Disease and must eat gluten free. Marcellos offers tantalizing dishes that are gluten free and fabulous! We devour their incredibly delicious gluten free pizza.
EDO: Beauty addiction?
JF: I am absolutely obsessed with lipgloss. I’m always mixing colors to make the perfect combination to compliment my ensemble. My favorite lip color for spring is MAC Florabundance lipglass. It is the perfect creamy neutral that flatters every skin type, makes your teeth appear whiter and compliments any sassy spring attire!
EDO: Ultimate vacation spot?
JF: My favorite destination for a vacation is definitely South Beach. One afternoon spent basking in the sun while lounging in a private cabana at the Ritz South Beach…and I’m a new woman! I always enjoy a bit of decadence.
EDO: If you could only wear one designer for the rest of your life it would be…
JF: My favorite designer is Missoni. My mom and I both absolutely adore their dreamy and dynamic prints. We are both collectors and find it hard to pass up any Missoni scarf! Missoni makes it easy to be well and be chic…a mantra we live by.
